If you have been following some of my tweets lately, you may have seen that I have been looking at search in Dynamo, for a while.
I became especially interested when I realized that it hung people up between versions.

after some investigation, I found really cool open source libaries to make it way more awesome-er.

But ultimately, Dynamo’s slow search boils down to two things:
- They load the icons EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU TYPE.
- Dynamo searches the entire node name, description and library category every time.
With that in mind, I aimed to add some new options,

Simple search will eventually be in Monocle. But for now, it is still in its early phases. But wow, am I having fun working on it. (remember, search isn’t sexy, but it is essential).
